When Google will launch Android L, the Mountain View company should give him a pretty name, especially if the company continues to use the naming convention of these older devices, including the names of deserts and sweets, the latest being Android KitKat. If one follows the alphabet, Lollipop seems favorite to replace KitKat.

If Google has not yet confirmed the official name of The Android, the company recently hinted that Android will be launched as The Lollipop Android.
Google recently posted the GIF image below, in order to celebrate her 16th birthday, which took place on 27 September. And instead of adding candles on the cake, she added lollipops, which is a very good indication that Android will be named The Lollipop Android once the OS is launched.
We expect to see new Google Nexus devices next month, among which we should find the tablet Nexus 9 and the smartphone Nexus 6 . Obviously, these two devices are expected to be launched alongside Android Lollipop.
Google could release the next major version of Android to its existing devices on 1 November, although this information has not been confirmed by Google.
