A funny project that could solve a common problem: the autonomy of mobiles.
As part of a project, Bjorn Van Den Hout, a student at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, had the idea of using the movement of the wheels of his skateboard to solve a problem that persists to this : the autonomy of our smartphones.
And though simple in principle Chargeboard is amazing. Indeed, it is neither more nor less than small generators that are installed at the wheel axles and produce electricity to power an onboard battery.

When it runs out of juice, the user can load their iPhone on the "dock" of skateboarding. Incidentally, it can also serve as a loudspeaker. And in case this is a phone that is not compatible with the "dock" there is also a 3.5mm jack port and a USB port.
While driving for an hour, the Chargeboard would be able to accumulate enough energy to charge a phone. But of course, this is just a prototype. However, the student does not exclude the idea of finding partners to develop and commercialize his invention.
