Google has Android 5.0 Lollipop

Android started as a mobile operating system available to smartphones, before eventually evolve to support tablets, smartwatches, and other devices. Today, the latest iteration of the OS supports TVs.

After months of speculation about what might be sweet or dessert that refers to the “L” for Android 5.0, Google announced that a worthy successor to KitKat Android, Android 5.0, named Lollipop .

The latest version of Android which provides more API 5000 and adopts a new design approach called Material Design . The mobile operating system was seen during the last Google I / O last June.

Google says that Lollipop is for all those who are traveling, and can interact with a bunch of different screens – smartphones, tablets and TV. With all these features, it is essential that they work perfectly.

he battery life on mobile devices running Lollipop will be extended by 90 minutes according to Google . Great news for anyone who has to reload its smartphone several times per day.

With this latest iteration, Google launches Nexus also three new devices that obviously come with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Nexus 6 is a smartphone, the Nexus tablet is 9, and the Player Nexus is the first device by rotating the Android TV! For the latter, I would return in a future article.

Lollipop will be released Friday, October 17th . The first devices running the operating system will be 9 Nexus, Nexus and Nexus 5 and 6 set-top box Nexus Player.
