Pre-orders begin for the Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Play

Pre-orders are now open for all the latest Google Nexus devices, among which are the smartphone, tablet and set-top box. Unfortunately, only one of them is currently available in France. Indeed, across the Atlantic, the Play Nexus and Nexus 6 is available on the Google Play Store, respectively $ 99 and US $ 649 . You can also opt for the 64GB version of the Nexus 6 699 dollars.

The tablet Nexus 9 is also available from the Play Store at a starting price of 399 dollars. But, as mentioned above, remember that you can pre-order the new tablet Nexus 16GB 9 for 399 euros on the French Google Play Store . The 32GB model will cost 489 euros. It should from the warehouse in 2-3 weeks.

Note that these three devices should be delivered at the beginning of November and will be among the first devices to get Lollipop with Android 5.0 as operating system.

Google also continues to offer the Nexus 5 and plans to push a software update over-the-air to it, as well as the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10.

Nexus 9
The Nexus has a 9 IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, 2GB of RAM, a 64-bit dual-core processor NVIDIA Tegra K1. It offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2 × 2 (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, NFC chip, a battery of 6700 mAh which should provide a battery life of 9.5 hours, and a storage space of 16 or 32 Go. On the back it has an 8 megapixel camera with an f / 2.4, and a 1.6 megapixel front camera and an aperture of f / 2.4.

Regarding the design, the tablet measures 153.68 x 228.25 x 7.95 mm and weighs 425 grams. It is available in three colors: blue-black, white and lunar sand.

Nexus 6
The new 6-inch smartphone Google Nexus is the largest to date, and most expensive, although people tend to forget that Nexus devices have not always been given. Indeed, the original Nexus One HTC was selling 500 euros.

It features a 5.96-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a 805 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3220 mAh battery. In addition, it provides support for wireless charging, and has Wi-Fi connectivity 802.11ac 2 × 2 (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, an NFC chip, and support for GSM, WCDMA and 4G LTE networks.

The smartphone measures 159.26 x 82.98 x 10.06 mm and weighs 184 grams. It is available in two colors: dark blue and white cloud.

Nexus Play
The newest member of the Nexus family is the first set-top box with the name of Nexus Play. It features an Intel Atom processor Bay, a quad chip clocked at 1.8 GHz, 1GB of RAM, a storage space of 8GB, and even connectivity 802.11ac 2 × 2 (MIMO) and Bluetooth 4.1. It has a micro USB 2.0 and HDMI output port and ships TV Android operating system.

The device measures 120 x 120 x 20 mm and weighs 235 grams.

Play the Nexus comes with a remote that you can use to make voice commands and research, and there is a Bluetooth joystick games option that will be sold separately for 40 euros.
