If you missed the first benchmark, it appears that the iPad 2 has a triple Air-core 1.5GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, which led to the achievement of the the overall Geekbench 1812 simple heart, compared to the original iPad Air with 1479 points.
Thus, the new Primate Labs benchmarks, identified by Mac Rumors, confirm this result in single heart (in fact, the original iPad Air had a lower score 1472 points), but the most impressive figures for the iPad Air 2 hearts are in double mode. It was recorded a score of 4477 points in Geekbench 3 multiple hearts (3 hearts), blowing heavily score the iPad and its original Air 2664 points. In other words, the Air iPad 2 is almost 70% faster in this benchmark compared to its predecessor.
Primate Labs has also passed bench tests the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and found that the latest flagship smartphone from Apple were not much faster than the first iPad Air with scores of 2879 and 2854 points. In addition, they are not much faster than the iPhone 5S, who scored 2523 points in the benchmark multiple cores, which means the iPhone 6 offers "only" a 14% improvement compared to its predecessor, and far from the 70% of the performance obtained with the iPad Air 2.
All that being said, those who have used the iPhone 6 have not had to complain in terms of usability and performance of the device - it should not place undue reliance on benchmarks.
However, the processor in the Apple A8X flagship tablet clearly shows that the raw performance are well above those of the chip A8 iPhone 6 . The Air iPad 2 is 55% faster than the iPhone 6.
