Earlier this month, Microsoft has officially shelved the Nokia brand for its Lumia smartphones. Today, images have surfaced of what appears to be a new device with the Microsoft Lumia brand.

The images come from a site certification Chinese telecommunications TENAA, which reveals a new Lumia smartphone with the Microsoft brand on the front and back . This smartphone seems to be a larger version of the Lumia 530. Nicknamed the RM-1090, it offers a dual-SIM connectivity.

Unfortunately, the RM-1090 has nothing exciting since it proves to be a low-end device with a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Other features include a specified battery of 1905 mAh, and a frame with a thickness of 9.3 mm.

Microsoft has hinted at the possibility of launching a new Lumia smartphone, with similar characteristics to those of the Lumia 830. It seems to be the latest addition to the low Windows Phone devices Microsoft range. A ploy used by the Company to compete with Android and iOS, and his struggle to popularize operating in terms of overall market share system.

We had various rumors about the launch of multiple Microsoft devices in recent months, but unfortunately the price and launch date have not been disclosed. It can be expected that the RM-1090 is unveiled before the holiday season.

Anyway, it seems strange that this device represents the beginnings of Microsoft Lumia brand, and leaves many people puzzled and wondering why the Redmond company has not chosen a top model.
