BlackBerry CEO, John Chen, confirmed that he will reveal the roadmap the next twelve months of BlackBerry during the Barcelona event . This means that we should know the plans of the Canadian firm for the coming year. These plans could include a new model with a QWERTY keyboard that would hide when not in use, which would be extremely convenient, or other smartphone with a completely new design, in the same vein as the BlackBerry Passport? Or maybe just a successor to the Classic, an upgrade of the famous Bold 9900.
John Chen stated that the company will launch at least four new smartphones, and even though we thought we would see the end of 2014, it seems that the MWC 2015 will be the perfect time for the company. If we have little information on smartphones that will be introduced at MWC 2015, we can expect to see something at least as innovative as the latest models launched recently.
Recently, during his stay in Paris, John Sims, president of the Enterprise Division Blackberry, outlined the future strategy of the Canadian manufacturer. It mentioned that the Canadian firm should achieve a balance of its cash in the near future and that 2015 would "come back to see a growth curve."
Note that the MWC 2015 is also expected to unveil the Galaxy S6, the HTC One and LG M9 G4.
