Presented at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, the upgrade of the 13-inch model of the Acer Aspire R13 should be able to give the fans and greatly reduce the noise of the device , thanks to the potential of saving energy of the micro-architecture of Intel Broadwell also known as Core M.

Already slender, the Aspire R13 offer portability similar to tablets after this facelift, with a weight of just over 1.36 kg and having a thickness of less than 2.54 cm. And, this is a very original hinge mechanism, the laptop can switch seamlessly between six user modes.
Laptop, tablet, tent, bridge, screen, are all modes that function as the names indicate, and Mode Ezel approaches meanwhile the screen you and floats above the keyboard to delete unnecessary space and essentially promote rapid transition between typing and touch interaction.
Aside from the unique 180 degree rotating screen, Intel Core and M chip, the upgrade of the Aspire R13 stands out from its first generation with better connectivity Wi-Fi 802.11ac, an active stylus for decision note and drawing (Acer Active Pen) and based on the Acer Hover Access technology to enable tactile context menus, and Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater.

Like the previous generation, you will have the opportunity to choose between a full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and WQHD (2560 x 1440), and a maximum internal storage capacity 1TB totally exorbitant. As for the RAM, it will be 8 GB.

If old models based on the Haswell architecture, with Intel Core i5 chip, 1080p screen and a 256 GB SSD are now sold at a price of 1000 euros, I hope these new toys will not be in higher prices.
