CES 2015: Acer Chromebook 13 with a touch screen

The Chromebooks may be limited machines, but they have their place. Frankly, I use almost daily to write when I move. They are light and mostly inexpensive, so it's not a big problem if you misplace or you drop it. However, the big problem with these machines is that many manufacturers seem to think Chromebooks are made ​​only for those who can not afford, and this is not the case. In fact, I do not look a laptop with Chrome OS for its price, but its simplicity and ease of use.

Acer has been a great supporter of the movement Chromebook and their offers were good value for money. To raise the bar a little higher in its offer, and besides the fact of having launched the first Chromebook with a 15.6 inch screen, Acer has expanded its Chromebook 13 with new models having the distinction of having a touch screen.

The Acer Chromebook 13, which was launched last August, offered a far K1 NVIDIA Tegra chip and a 13.3-inch screen, allowing the laptop running Chrome OS to have up to 13 hours of autonomy. Soon, this model will be joined by a second album that will allow you to opt for a touch screen if you wish.

The range of Acer Chromebook currently offers 13 models with 2 or 4 GB of RAM, internal storage capacity from 16 to 32 GB, and a screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels. Prices start at around 300 euros, but you can find models at lower prices depending on the site where you buy it.

Acer says that the new touchscreen models will also have the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and provide up to 13 hours of battery life . These models will be available from January in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with a base price of € 329 , or 29 euros more than the model without the touch screen.
