As the name suggests, this tablet has a 10-inch IPS screen and Alcatel talking about the fact that it's incredibly thin and light. It has a slim profile with a thickness of only 7.9 mm, and weighs only 400 g . She has a soft-touch coating on the back cover. Unfortunately, and despite the fact that it is thin, the camera lens protrudes slightly from the hull.

It uses the latest version of the mobile operating system from Google, Android 5.0 Lollipop, with a slight overlay Alcatel on top. It has a quad-core processor, 8GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera on the back cover, and a front camera of 2 megapixels.
This tablet supports 4G LTE connectivity final and can handle voice calls. The design allows to quickly switch the tablet into a laptop, thanks to an ergonomic keyboard which can be clipped onto it. There is also a docking station. The accessories do not stop there since Alcatel's OneTouch Link to synchronize your smartphone and your tablet, and OneTouch Connect, which is apparently a "smartphone Bluetooth" to answer calls and reading emails.

Alcatel has not released complete specifications or the price of this tablet, but it is conceivable that the POP 10 to be very affordable .

The tablet is part of the POP family of the firm, which includes two smartphones Alcatel POP, announced in September last year. They are available in a range of colors and screen sizes (5 inches, 4.5 inches and 4 inches) and offer 4G LTE connectivity. They all have quad-core processors clocked at 1.2 GHz, but the 5-inch model has an 8-megapixel camera and Android Lollipop, while the other two are on Android 4.4 and a 5 megapixel camera.
