CES 2015: Sony launches Walkman NW-ZX2 1200 dollars

Sony Walkman brand historically designated cassettes players that the Japanese manufacturer sold since 1979. In recent years, it is used as a synonym for a portable music player. These days, many of us just use our smartphones such as MP3 players to listen to music on the road. But some people prefer something a little more rustic. The latest Sony Walkman is for these people.

The Sony Walkman NW-ZX2 is a portable player premium audio offering a high-definition audio support (192 kHz / 24-bit), wireless, and high-end audio equipment.

It supports Bluetooth to pair a headset, and offers up to 128 GB of internal storage and a micro-SD card slot in order to increase a little more storage capacity. Finally, it has a touch screen.
The Walkman runs on the Android operating system 4.2 Jelly Bean, which means you can download and install third-party applications such as Spotify or Rdio, although it is much cheaper ways to listen to music for these services .

The devices of the Walkman series of Sony ZX are really for people who want to listen to high quality audio, uncompressed. It supports audio formats WAV, FLAC, AIFF, and DSD, and offers up to 60 hours of battery life while playing music.

But as we discovered Walkman at CES last year, the new model is a high-end device that is not designed for casual music listeners. Indeed, for this new model you're going to shell out a whopping $ 1200 dollars.
