Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge: they will not be waterproof

It is increasingly likely that the presupposition Galaxy S6 Samsung and its variant known to be the Galaxy Edge S6, with its double-curved screen, be officially announced in early March. But both could leave the waterproof feature, which appeared with the Galaxy S5.

The Galaxy S5 was launched last year with IP67 certification, meaning that the current flagship smartphone from the South Korean firm can be immersed in one meter of water for 30 minutes. It was a pleasant surprise, because although Samsung has sold waterproof smartphones in the past, they have always been part of its range "Active".

Unfortunately, a new publication says that Samsung will not continue to present flagship water-resistant devices . While the Galaxy S6 and variant, the Galaxy Edge S6, are not confirmed, there is also no official information that they are not waterproof. In other words, there is still some hope for those who just can not help but jump in swimming pools or jump in with both feet in puddles.

According to a new rumor from Korea, there will be yet another variant of the Galaxy S6, S6 Active Galaxy, which will offer features of waterproof coatings . If it is based, this will mean that we could have three main variants.

Make a small jump
According to other rumors published by GforGames , Samsung is preparing to officially announce the Galaxy S6 March 2nd at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona . However, we have heard from other sources stating that the Korean company will launch its flagship device, a day earlier, on March 1st.

Although plans may have changed, somehow it is more than likely that at the beginning of March, Samsung unveils its new range of flagship smartphones.

The same rumors published by GforGames also claim that Samsung has not yet decided whether or not the Galaxy S6 has a metal frame, or if it will announce the variant with curved edges, the Galaxy Edge S6.

Again, we will take this with a grain of salt, since only the Korean company knows what she is going to announce ...
