Just after Google's announcement on the suspension of the marketing of Google Glass (pending new versions), Microsoft took advantage of the launch of Windows 10 to present HoloLens, his new glasses holographic augmented reality, based on this latest version the famous operating system.

The mask HoloLens projects in high definition and augmented reality, holograms on the real environment. Unlike virtual reality-type Oculus VR devices, in which the user is totally immersed in a virtual world, HoloLens acts as a screen displaying virtual objects but through which the user continues to see the real world.
The virtual elements overlap and integrate with real physical space seen by the user. Finally, it naturally controls all this with simple hand gestures.
With HoloLens, Microsoft wants to improve the way we interact with the virtual to make us more efficient every day.
These glasses allow us to learn or play interactively communicate in a new way, to directly visualize the work done on a computer or to share ideas collaboratively. The virtual world comes to life before our eyes in our real environment.
As part of a working three-dimensional design, the mask helps to anchor HoloLens virtual holograms on physical objects in order to immediately assess the size and scale in real time. This technology also allows to save time and make the right decision by visualizing a 3D model from all angles.
The HoloLens glasses also will explore in detail the places where we are not physically, like NASA scientists soon will explore Mars using holograms from the Rover images.
