Microsoft Surface Hub: a 84-inch all-in-one PC

Microsoft unveiled a new member of the family area. The next area Hub is not a portable tablet like the Surface Pro 3, but it is an all-in-one 84-inch, designed for use in the professional world . To simplify, it is a giant Smart TV Windows that integrates all your devices while you are in a professional environment.

It has cameras, touch screen, sensors, and obviously running the latest version of the operating system of Redmond, Windows 10 . You can use it as a digital whiteboard for use with OneNote or as a video conferencing system with Skype.

While it is difficult to really make a judgment with a single remote presentation, the Hub area works by connecting to the corporate network, and executes a special version of Windows 10. Hub area has a 4K screen, two cameras, offers support for multi-touch touch input or a digital pen and can run any Windows application 10 available for small devices such as desktops or laptops. But there is also a suite of applications designed to take notes, manipulate pictures or presentations, and more. It therefore focuses on interactivity for professionals.

The idea is that the content on your network - such as maps, models and other images - may be annotated and edited on the Hub area in an office.

Since it runs on Windows 10, it also means that new applications can be developed for the Hub area will be centered around this environment on the big screen . There is so far no word on pricing or availability, but since it has Windows 10, we probably learn more by the end of the year.
