Samsung ATIV Book Blade 9: an ultrabook dedicated to mobility and productivity

The ultrabooks have long been considered the elite in the era of laptops, offering the perfect combination of versatility, productivity, and portability. Unfortunately, until last year, the trifecta of these elements has always come at a price higher than the average. But today, Samsung seeks to break with this tradition, by unveiling its new ultrabook ATIV Book 9 Blade.

This new notebook provides up to 256 GB of internal storage SSD to fit all your storage needs. But if this were not enough, the South Korean giant has also decided to offer a subscription to a cloud service "home" for all the extras. For less demanding of you, know that it is also a basic model with a more reasonable amount of storage, 128 GB. Both versions also have a 12.2-inch LED screen with a resolution WQXGA or 2560 1600 pixels, powered by an internal graphics chip Intel HD Graphics 5300.
 
 The new Intel Core M-5Y10C allows the system to have a higher speed while maintaining efficiency. Although it is not as fast as Intel Core "standard" Samsung chip helps keep the size of the Blade Book 9 Compact, because it measures 27.94 x 20.32 centimeters. It weighs only 948 grams.
Blade Book 9 offer a range of 10.5 hours according to Samsung. Connectivity includes two USB 3.0 ports, a micro-HDMI port, a video output and location for your needs expand storage with an SD card.
The base model of Blade 9 Book is sold at a price of 1199 dollars with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, and goes to 1399 dollars if you want to double the amount of RAM and internal storage.

All versions of the system will be compatible with Samsung SideSync, a utility that allows connectivity with the company's smartphones. Owners of Book 9 Blade and a compatible smartphone SideSync can use to send SMS, share files or make phone calls with the laptop.

The full range of ATIV Book Blade 9 should be available in the shops in the 1st quarter of 2015.
