Microsoft tests privately Work Assistant for Windows Phone

While Cortana debuted on Windows 10, Microsoft is currently testing a new private application on Windows Phone appointed Assistant Work . Although there was not too much information about Work Wizard, the project could be linked to a project that Bill Gates is working for Microsoft, called Personal Agent.

Originally discovered by Windows Mobile Power User , the Work Assistant application is currently as an internal beta, and is designed to help users perform clerical tasks on Windows Phone. Last month, when Microsoft unveiled Windows 10 desktop computers, the company demonstrated how the personal assistant Cortana, who made his debut on Windows Phone, could be used to find Office files stored locally on the PC or the cloud in OneDrive.

One hypothesis is that Work Wizard could help extend the capabilities Cortana on Windows Phone , and would be able to provide information to the new touch-optimized version of Office 2016 when it launches Windows 10 smartphone. Although there is no official information on how to Work Assistant will work, there is a low probability that this new feature can make Cortana on both Android and iOS via the Office suite of applications.

The Verge describes the digital assistant as being similar to "Clippy," the friendly guide shaped paper clip that has taught us to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint in the 1990s.

The draft Bill Gates: Personal Agent
Another possibility is that Work Assistant can be part of the Personal Agent Draft Bill Gates . On Reddit, during a session of questions and response (Ask Me Anything - AMA), Gates said he was working on a project called Personal Agent.

"A project I'm working with Microsoft's Personal Agent who will remember everything, and will help you go back and find things and help you choose the things you need to remember," said Gates. "The idea that you have to find and search for applications, and each trying to tell you what is new, is not just an effective model. " The agent will solve this problem. He revealed that it would be a multi-platform product and will be available on Windows, iOS and Android.

According to Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet , Work Assistant was developed by the Digital Life & Work Group within Microsoft, which partiedu Applications and Services Group (ASG) in Lu Qi. "Julie Larson-Green, CEO of ASG experience is supposed to be spearheading the effort to Work Wizard, which Gates was involved, my source said, " says Foley.

No details on any of these projects, it is not known if Work and Personal Assistant Agent Gates are linked.
