The French electronics company Archos has unveiled four new low-cost smartphones , and it will launch at Mobile World Congress next week in Barcelona. The new phones are powered by MediaTek manufacturer of processors, and screen sizes ranging from 5 to 6.3 inches, and sold at prices below 170 euro 's.

The top model is a smartphone named Archos 50 Oxygen Plus. It has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, an ARM Cortex-A7 processor, octa-core chip MediaTek MT6592. Under the hood you will also find 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, coupled with a micro-SD card slot. With a thickness of 7.2 millimeters and weighing only 125 grams, the grip is excellent.
KitKat Android 4.4 is the operating system included in this model. While Android Lollipop is natural for many weeks, it is a pity that the French manufacturer could not push the latest version of Android.
The smartphone has an 8 megapixel camera on back shell inlay, a front camera of 5 megapixels, a battery of 2000 mAh. Archos will start selling a 3G model for less than 170 euros as of March. Note that the French brand is already preparing the 4G version of this smartphone, for the month of June 2015. This release will benefit from 4G Android Lollipop and will develop an octa-core processor MT6752 offering a 4G connectivity. The design, meanwhile, will remain unchanged. It will be priced at 199 euros.
Archos also has three new smartphones: the Platinum 52, the 59 and 62 Xenon Xenon. They have a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chip. All three are 3G smartphones that have Android 4.4, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a micro-SD card slot. In addition, you have two SIM card slots. And they have an IPS screen with a 720p resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), a camera of 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
