Samsung unveils a new camera with interchangeable lens, the NX500

This is the annual Samsung European Forum, which took place today in Monaco that the South Korean manufacturer decided to announce the launch of its new digital camera with interchangeable lens, the NX500. The latter takes the DNA of NX1 presented at the IFA in September.

The digital camera Samsung NX500 has been designed both for people who want to take beautiful photos in a minimum of settings but also for those who are eager to be able to change the settings manually to get to their final goal. It is possible to change its target in order to "graft" one that suits the scene you wish to pay.

The Samsung NX500 features a BSI sensor APS-C of 28 million pixels. It is associated with an image processor DRIMe5 developed by the manufacturer. It uses the same ultra fast aufocus system on NX1. It can detect movement to automatically take pictures.

The NX500 is capable of shooting at a resolution 4K Ultra HD at 24 or 30 frames per second and a timelapse function is also proposed. Recording is done with the HEVC codec. It is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC has to sail immediately with a smartphone and thus be able to be controlled from the latter or transfers. 


The device measures 119,5x63,6x42,5 mm and weighs 287 grams without battery and memory card. Its touch screen can rotate and uses the Super AMOLED display technology.


The digital camera Samsung NX500 will be available mid-March for 750 €.
