The MacBook Air has fallen from a plane

Want to see what looks like a MacBook Air out of the blue? These photos should please you.

I do not know what you think, but for me, the laptop - or rather ultra portable - perfect must necessarily meet certain criteria.

To begin with, it should be light and compact because nobody wants to walk on a living room or between two appointments with a 10 kg bag on his shoulders.

Then, still from my own point of view, it should be as independent as possible. Sometimes the electrical outlets are scarce and there is nothing worse than not being able to finish a folder (or even one) due to fuel exhaustion.

And then, of course, there is resistance to shocks. By definition, a mobile machine has more chance of being jostled the tower quietly sleeping under your desk.

A laptop should be light, autonomous and shock resistant. Especially when you pilot a plane.

I can assure you that you do not do the proud when you fall on the floor with your bag after slipping on a patch of ice. Especially not when it contains a MacBook Air and a D810 with its objectives. I speak also knowingly because that is exactly what happened to me last December, during LeWeb'2014.

And indeed, the computer Apple seems to get away with all the honors on this ground, as evidenced by this amazing story.

An airline pilot has actually dropped his backpack as he flew to 1000 feet (304 meters) above sea level to over 200 km / h . Rest assured, it is not flying an Airbus A320, but a small airplane engine. Fun fact, it is a farmer who has found his bag, and MacBook Air.

He even contacted him to make his business, if you want to know everything. Our pilot has also had the surprise of his life by finding that his computer had weathered the adventure. Well except the touchpad that has exploded in shock.

So of course this does not mean you have to barter your computer against a MacBook Air, but I must admit that this story is rather ... surprising. I will suddenly less worry the next time I fall to the ground with all my gear.
