The VAIO Z and VAIO Z Canvas are two new hybrid laptop with a touch screen . The first is intended for use in the professional world, while the second is more a device dedicated to creativity.

The first is the VAIO Z has a "multi-flip" mode, allowing the user to convert the 13.3-inch notebook tablet. It's a pretty standard laptop regarding the components but has a flexible design. The keyboard can also be placed behind the screen (180 degrees) for various activities, such as watching movie or video conferencing. A stylus is included for use with the touch screen in one of these modes.
There is a second-generation SSD and an Intel Core i7 processor. The device weighs 1.33 kg, and has a thickness of about 1.67 cm. The battery was evaluated to last 15.5 hours between charges. Absolutely amazing!
The VAIO Z is available for pre-order in Japan today about 1600 dollars.
The VAIO Z Canvas meanwhile has a detachable 12.1-inch display, an important resolution of 2560 x 1740 pixels. It also comes with a digital pen. VAIO claims it will come with 1TB of internal storage.
