Google will enjoy a significant update to correct 5 important bugs in Android 5.0 Lollipop to also install a brand new feature that can lock the device more intelligently. Called On-Body Detection, this feature is rather innovative.
On-Body Detection: a locking / unlocking smart
The On-Body Detection will allow users to do more systematically re-enter a code, password or make a drawing with your finger to unlock the phone as soon as they come out of pocket. This function would use the capabilities of the accelerometer in each terminal, to understand if the phone is still being used or if it was simply placed on a table.
This way, if you stop to serve you temporarily smartphones as you talk with a friend, you will not have the unpleasant sensation of having systematically unlock the phone. The difference between a stop of use but still a human activity or if the phone is in a pocket or placed on a desk for example on-Body Detection will be able to do. Conversely if your phone locks after 10 minutes normally and that you put it on a desk, the system will lock the phone before by security.
