Admittedly, this is only a rumor, but it comes from a very credible source. Paul Thurrott been reporting on Windows for 20 years, and has very close ties with the technique of Microsoft. His podcast Windows Weekly, has published more than 400 episodes. Although it is possible that this is an error, it is very plausible given its experience and other feelings that came from Microsoft Windows 10 as a universal platform.
So does this mean that the user will be able to run Clash of Clans on its desktop? Android applications are already designed to run on many devices, smartwatches screens, to all-in-one device. The Windows Store, already facing a limited selection of applications, would look even less attractive next to a desktop version of Google Play Store.
One of the biggest complaints about Windows Phone is the lack of applications, in contrast to iOS or Android, and Android offer compatibility could instantly solve this problem.
Exciting but ...
While Thurrott admits that this sounds like a win-win for users, it also underlines that there is a potential dark side to this approach. When users Windows Phone seek to upgrade their device, they could leave Android platform , where they will find all the applications they want.
Thurrott also suggests that developers who worked on the Windows platform will be unhappy with the announcement. Microsoft has pressured universal applications ( Apps Universal ) by announcing Windows 10, and allow Android applications to run on such a device would be a real disavowal from the American giant.
For now, we'll just wait and see what the BUILD for us . If Microsoft announced that Android applications will be compatible on Windows, it will be a major topic of discussion at the conference, and we should hear a lot about.
