Instagram will not only highlight the musicians and their fans. Indeed, the community will highlight the photographers dedicated to music, albums, illustrators and instrument manufacturers. Systrom also encourages musicians and fans to take an active role in the new community oriented music.
There will be six weekly publications, highlighting categories like #LocallySourced (without record company) #DoubleTrack (artists' interests outside of music) and # 15SecondLessons (brief video tutorial for music). This is the first time Instagram launches official account outside of his.
