For a long time LG introduced its latest Windows Phone. But many rumors spoke of a possible return of the Korean giant in this sector. The device, which was spotted by Windows Central, is considered the LG Lancet in a brochure, called official.

The Lancet is not the high-end smartphone with Windows Phone that everyone can wait before the launch of Windows 10, and appears to be another entry-level device for the Microsoft OS. According to the brochure, the Lancet have a TFT screen of 4.5 inches with a simple resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. There could be a camera of 8 megapixel rear of the smartphone, and a VGA camera on the front.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor is clocked at 1.2 GHz, and is coupled to 1GB of RAM to power the device. We would find 8GB of internal storage, expandable with a micro SD card 128 GB if you want to store more photos, videos or music. The ability to add more storage on the smartphone is even more important in this case, as only 4 GB of space are likely to be used, says the brochure.

A battery of 2100 mAh should allow the Lancet reasonable autonomy, especially as the screen has a low resolution.

Android software features Windows Phone
LG had planned to include more of its own software features in the Lancet , including Knock On The system of double tap on the screen to wake the smartphone, QuickMemo for notes, Gesture Shot to help in the capture selfies, Soft Light and Live Shot.

This low-end Windows Phone could happen in the US mobile operator Verizon shortly , although no release date or price are disclosed in the brochure. Given the basic characteristics, the Lancet probably cost less than the brand new Lumia 640 Microsoft sold 179.90 euros in France.
