A metal version of LG G4 could come

There are rumors that LG has not finished releasing high-end smartphones for 2015. If the G4 occupies the highest step in its range of Android smartphones, it could be usurped by a currently known smartphone the name G4 Pro. This mysterious device might happen towards the end of the year.

The rumors began in March this year, when LG Jun Ho Cho was quoted as saying, "we plan to release a product that dominates the G Series will be launched in the second half of this year" . His words came out of his mouth before the LG G4 is formalized.

Subsequently, in mid-May, Focus Taiwan reported that the intentions of the firm had changed. He said that LG plans to continue its strategy of "dual flagship" (double flagship), and would free two high-end smartphones for 2015. We have seen the first, G4, and the second could come after summer. The report cited Shao Eason, CEO of LG Taiwan.

Metal instead of leather
However, Shao said to Focus Taiwan that specifications have not been finalized for the new smartphone. The first clues on the unit - including the use of the name G4 Pro - from ET News in early June. Apparently, LG is working on a G4 Pro with a metal frame , using a specific design process, which is slightly different from that used by Apple and Samsung.

It is not certain that LG sells a metal chassis on the G4 Pro, and the firm may choose to try such a design in a niche device before putting on a flagship smartphone. Samsung has done something similar with the Galaxy Alpha. In any case, it would be an excellent initiative to replace the leather shell LG G4.

Although there is no specific release date beyond the second half of 2015, we can speculate that the Berlin IFA in September is the perfect event , especially as Samsung usually flies the spotlight with a new Galaxy Note.
