Nevertheless, there is an essential difference between the program First Flight Sony and other crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter, Indiegogo. First Flight is designed to enhance employees' ideas of the firm itself . In other words, this means that you can not use it to raise funds for the project of a potato salad, or umpteenth smartwatch. But, you can use it to encourage projects of Sony employees to emerge.

First Flight is more than just a site to raise funds . It also allows developers teaser of their ideas to gauge interest, and communicate with potential customers. Obviously, it collects funds and eventually sell the products of the firm.

Already launched projects
For its launch, the First Flight program is the country of origin of Sony: Japan. It is therefore not surprising to see that the site is only available in Japan currently. But, if you are Japanese territory, or read Japanese, you can provide feedback on some of the first projects, including MESH Smart DIY kit, which allows you to turn ordinary appliances intelligent devices through to sensors, LED lights, or other components through tiny "tags", and customizable remote control CAMERA .
Sony also used to present the First Flight Watch FES with ePaper screen.

All in all, First Flight could be a way for Sony to assess the value of its new products before putting them on the market . It could be a fairly easy and inexpensive way to put a new device. What do you think of this initiative?
