HP Falcon: a smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile

Microsoft wants to make Windows 10 a success on both desktop and mobile. The new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are perhaps not as expected premium smartphones, but there are rumors about a new super smartphone named the HP Falcon. This could have incorporated high-end components under the hood. Despite its name, it is not known if the smartphone is really produced by HP, but various information about the found themselves on the canvas.

The first evidence of the existence of HP Falcon appeared on the site GFXBench benchmarking. There is no way to check the accuracy of the information for now, but the specifications are excellent for a future smartphone. However, the falsification of benchmarks is simple, and it should take this information with tweezers.

According to the benchmark, the HP Falcon is a large machine, the size of a PHABLET, with a screen of 5.8 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The other good news is the inclusion of a 820 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. Recently announced by the manufacturer, it is planned to be included in many leading smartphones in 2016.

In the photo section, we would find a 20-megapixel camera in the front, and a camera of 12 megapixel rear. 43 GB of storage are referred to, which is probably converted by 64GB when the used space is taken into account. Unfortunately, less than 1 GB of memory (RAM) is mentioned. If someone has taken the trouble to rig the results, it seems strange that he has not inflated this statistic.

A mysterious return HP Mobile?
But what? HP did not provide a smartphone for many years. The last time was in January 2014, with the Slate Slate 6 and 7 VoiceTab. Before it was a long journey through the desert for HP, Palm and abandonment after acquiring it in 2010. At the end of 2014, HP has split into two entities, one focused for companies , one for consumers. But the mobile part remained very discreet.

Perhaps the HP Falcon is a prototype, and maybe it will never see the day.
