6th Sense Alarm Clock is a smart alarm clock app that uses multiple sensors to detect whether you’re snoozing or actually awake after hitting the alarm.
6th Sense Alarm Clock uses a combination of changes in light, sound and movement to detect whether you’re actually awake after hitting the alarm button. Therefore, there’s no snooze button in this app as the features allow it to dictate whether you’re up or still on your lips snoozing.
When setting up an alarm you get the same features as any alarm app such as; the ability to set the time, recurring day(s), ringtone, vibration, multiple alarms, and the core important feature of toggling one or all three light, sound and movement conditions. This option is great because not all people wake and flick on the lights as they prepare (not to disturb a partner) so not enabling light sensor is useful in this case- so a snooze alarm will not sound off. It’s also important to note that the app allows you to set these conditionally; meaning AND / OR sensor conditions. Additionally, you can determine your fully awake state when just one sensor has changed (toggle OR). Alternatively, if you’re a heavy sleeper you are determine fully awake when all selected sensors have changed (toggle AND).
Lastly, if you press the clock icon to the top right you can get detailed graphs and statistics on your wake patterns and determine which sensor(s) where changed, plus set the optimal pattern as your default- which helps the app learn your habits for more accurate prediction of when you’re awake or snoozing.
