Google has removed the privacy feature from its android as they are experimenting on it, which allows user to block those apps who collect the personal information which are Contact details and also user's location.
This upgradation has introduced in the latest version of Android 4.4.2, which was released in this week.
This means that the owners of the smartphones using Android 4.4.2, must provide full access to their personal data for using some of the apps.
The one of the company employee has said that "the feature had been included by accident in Android 4.3" it was the previous version which released in last summer.
But,According to "Peter Eckersley" the technology projects director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, if Android users who wish to retain the privacy control by not upgrading the version to Android 4.4.2 will be susceptible to security risk.
There are many third-party applications in the market are available for Android devices such as music-identifying service Shazam and flashlight apps, require access to personal information which does not related to the app's functionality, such as phone call information and location data of a user.
This privacy feature allowed users to pick and choose the personal data a third-party app should be gain by the user. User's had to install a special app "Ops Launcher" software, which was created by the other company, in order to get access the hidden privacy controls.
There are 81% of smartphone which having Android OS in worldwide in the third quarter(according to IDC industry research firm), on the other hand Apple's iOS, the software used on the iPhone, having 12.9% of market shares.
In now-a-day the privacy has became the most important issue for the smartphone which gives the many things according to the user.
For the privacy the Google must have to take some action because Google having the responsibility of that, and finally Google agreed to pay $17 million to give the more security in this current vast technology era for the smartphones.
