Google AdSense Direct: a platform to bring together publishers and advertisers





Content publishers can now count on a new tool to monetize their 

website(s): Google AdSense Direct.



There are many ways to monetize a site. Some prefer to rely on membership, 

others on the dissemination of paid content, but the display remains 

the most common method. Again, the governed do not miss. Many

publishers have however turned to AdSense solution and this may

be your case.


And indeed, Google has deployed a new tool more interesting, a tool that is 

currently available in the U.S.: Direct AdSense .


As its name suggests, it has only one objective: to enable publishers and 

advertisers to work directly on custom campaigns. The operation of this new 

service is thus akin to what most AdServers offer.


Very concretely, publishers will simply go through the AdSense platform to 

create custom campaigns. They will naturally define a number of parameters 

such as the total budget of the advertiser , the type of compensation  

or even the duration of the operation . The tool will then send an email 

to the advertiser. It only has to validate the proposal and send their

banners for the campaign run in stride.


Google, for its part, will receive a 15% commission on the total amount

of the campaign. All transactions will be managed through Google

Wallet, the electronic wallet of the firm.


The tool is not yet available in Europe, it is obviously difficult to gauge his

interest, or relevance, but I think it should interest all publishers who

do not necessarily want to go through a solution dedicated.
