Windows 8.1: Metro applications soon mop in office interface

Future update of Windows 8.1 could result in integration of applications icons

Modern UI interface in the office.

On the occasion of the next update to Windows 8.1, Microsoft could

add some integration of the Modern UI interface in the conventional desktop.

More precisely, if one believes the Russian site Wzor, it would integrate icons

Modern UI applications in the taskbar of the desktop interface.

This would be likely to facilitate the transition from one interface to another

by adding an additional means.

To enable this new feature, an option in the properties of the taskbar would

make his appearance. It is therefore possible to "Show the Store apps on the

taskbar."

More chemistry between the two interfaces of Windows 8.1 now very

uncorrelated could help unify the operating system often referred to as two-

headed.

9 Windows, code-named "Threshold" (expected for 2015) could go even

further by allowing Metro applications run directly from the desktop interface.

The integration of icons Metro applications in the taskbar of the desktop

interface would be an intermediate step before Windows 9.

The updated Windows 8.1 should be announced at the Microsoft Build

conference scheduled for April 2014.
