Nokia has announced the launch of a new accessory dedicated to the most forgetful of us: the Treasure Tags.
You frequently misplace your smartphone or worse, outright your laptop? You are in your fourth-to-hand bag, satchel, satchel (delete as appropriate) since the beginning of the year? You do not count the number of times you have forgotten your kid at the local supermarket? Nokia has thought of you, just for you, and no doubt the Treasure Tags should change your life. Or at least help to improve it.
This funny accessory in the form of a small colorful label and obviously recalls the Lumia manufacturer. Extremely compact (30 x 30 x 10 mm) and rather light (13 grams on the scale), the latter was thought to be as discreet as possible.
Hidden in the box, we will find a Bluetooth chip, NFC chip and a CR-2032 conferring autonomy for six months to the device.
The first thing to do is obviously to pair our Lumia Tag building on the NFC chip or on-board Bluetooth chip. When two devices connect together, a message is displayed on the terminal screen to invite us to download and install a specific application from the Microsoft Store, an application called ... Nokia Treasure Tag.
And after? Once the terminal and label the move away from each other, a beep will sound to warn us. It shall be sufficient to strain to get their hands on one or the other.
Nokia does not stop there and the company has made sure that the tag can be easily located on an interactive map developed from HERE service. Also note that each Lumia can connect up to four labels simultaneously.
Declined in cyan, yellow, white or black, the Nokia Treasure Tags arrive on the market at the beginning of April for a retail price set at 24.90 euros . To enjoy it, it will still have a terminal running Lumia Black.
