HTC M8 the successor of HTC One unveiled March 25

HTC has sent an invitation to the press to a special event to be held March 25, 2014. Chance or coincidence, two pictures of the M8, the successor to the HTC One, just made their appearance.

HTC One was one of the best smartphones of 2013. It is therefore logical successor is eagerly awaited.

However, it is likely that the Taiwanese manufacturer will unveil the end of March since HTC has just sent out invitations for an event to be held simultaneously in New York and London on March 25, one month after the MWC 2014 (which begins Feb. 24).

If the invitation is terse, it is highly probable that it is the M8 (code name).

To wait until then, here's what to wear you going with two alleged photos of M8. They were published by Mr. Helal on his Google+ account.

According to the latest rumors to date, the M8 would be powered by a Snapdragon 800 (with 4 400 Krait cores and GPU Adreno 330) associated with 2GB of DRAM. It is characterized by a Full HD screen of 5 inches. No Snapdragon 805 therefore (as might be the case for the Galaxy S5) or definition 2K/QHD (also approached for S5). It is not known whether HTC will equip the camera with a sensor UltraPixel (as for One and One HTC Max).

As for the HTC M8 Mini, it could ship the Snapdragon 400, 1 GB DRAM, 16GB of internal memory (with microSD slot) and evolve Android 4.4.2 with Sense 6.0.

The question also remains entirely on the name of the device: HTC One 2 would not necessarily be very happy (HTC Two time).
