LG just enjoy the MWC 2014 to launch the F70, an entry level smarphone 4G LTE enabled. Its other strengths: a substantial battery, KnockON function improved and Android 4.4.
LG completes its range of compatible 4G LTE smartphones with the F70. The South Korean manufacturer has benefited from MWC 2014 held in Barcelona from February 24 to 27 for the unveiling.
At the forefront in the field of 4G LTE-A with no less than 288 patents, LG also leads the way in LTE area with many patented innovations.
LG F70 displays 800 by 480 pixels on its 4.5-inch screen (resolution of 207 pixels per inch). It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked up to 1.2 GHz and supported by 1 GB of DRAM. Storage is provided by an internal flash memory of 4 GB and the presence of a microSD slot (to add up to 32GB of flash memory). The unit is powered by a 2440 mAh battery consequent conducive to intensive use of the 4G LTE network.
The F70 runs on the latest version of Android 4.4, aka KitKat.
LG willed elegant with a slim design and a very fine frame surrounding the screen.
The F70 also incorporates the functionality KnockON ("awakening" of the device by tapping the screen) appeared with the LG G2. The functionality has been enhanced with Knock Code. The user can now simultaneously turn and unlock the smartphone by tapping a custom combination on screen F70 (February to August with tapping or 80,000 possible combinations).
For now, LG has not mentioned the price of the F70. The segment of entry and mid-range smartphones carries. With the F70, LG adds 4G LTE cellular connectivity often absent in these models and autonomy which should be equal.
