The upcoming BlackBerry revealed

BlackBerry is not dead yet. At least, he struggles. While it was announced that the former flagship of the phone would sell, it was finally decided otherwise.

For those who have not followed this saga: BlackBerry has received new funding, replaced its CEO and recently, it decided to establish a partnership with Foxconn (the controversial Contracting Apple) to produce its new smartphones.

From what we were able to understand at the time, especially the partnership involved the production of low cost terminals, BlackBerry noticing emerging markets where it could still be successful.

He had already mentioned a name smartphone, code-named "Jakarta" because it was produced in Indonesia, which is the first product of this partnership between BlackBerry and Foxconn. According to speculation, the Jakarta could be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2014, held in Barcelona in a few days.

Our colleagues from Berry Review spotted what could be the next BlackBerry specifications (that is to say, the Jakarta) on a benchmark result. From what we can read, here are the possible specifications of this upcoming smartphone:

- A ARMv7 processor clocked at 1.19Ghz Dual Core

- MSM8230 Snapdragon chipset One More

- A graphics Adreno 305 Gr

- And a memory of 1.5 GB

This is all that is good to know and you'll understand this is far from upscale. The rest of the information disclosed are available on the results of the benchmark , which also indicate that the terminal will run on BlackBerry 10 OS Version 10.2.1.569.

At the moment, we do not know if this new terminal will have a physical keyboard or not. When Jakarta was mentioned for the first time, speculation spoke a touch keyboard. But in a recent interview, the new CEO of BlackBerry said that the next BlackBerry majority would keep the trademark of the company: the "real" keyboard that made his reputation.

In any case, it will surely be far from high specifications BlackBerry Z30 , the newest upscale former leader, who does not seem, however, have met with a very large echo at its output.

It remains to be seen whether this new smartphone will have its place in the current market, dominated by devices running iOS and Android.
