Google Chrome switches to hands-free use with "Google OK"
The voice command via "OK Google" is integrated into a new beta browser Google Chrome.
Google wants to generalize the use of "hands-free" on its Web browser Google. Say "Go Google" and your Moto X wakes to search (via the search engine, Google Maps ...) you want. Ditto for Google Glass that activate similarly.
This research directly via voice (without clicking) now makes its appearance in the beta of Chrome 34. There is one month, this feature had landed in the Chromium browser, adapting open source Chrome, without the need to install the browser extension.
The update is being deployed for beta versions of the browser for Windows, Mac OS X (and OS X) and Linux.
For now, only the English language is supported. But four other languages will be soon and Chrome OS also soon welcome this feature.
In his blog contribution, Google also indicates the support of a feature that allows the browser to manage images in the logic of responsive design . Depending on the device used and the screen, the browser uses the resource (image file here) suitable format. Developers specify various sources via scrcset (. source set ) in an image tag like this:
<Img alt = "A rad wolf. "Src =" pic1x.jpg "srcset =" pic1x.jpg 1x, 2x pic2x.jpg, pic4x.jpg 4x "/>
Support the Web Audio API (JavaScript API for high-level support of its web applications) wins also improved, as the overall stability of the browser.
