In a previous article, we discussed the work of an Israeli start-up that promises a technology capable of charging your smartphone (from 0% to 100%) in 30 seconds . This would be a great help but unfortunately they are still in the development stage.
Waiting to see if this feat is really done, we can only rejoice upon hearing the news announcement Qualomm: Quick Charcge 2.0.
With the Quick Charge technology, Qualcomm already promises a 40% charging time shorter than a free unit thereof. Currently, Quick Charge already would fit about 40 different devices. And with the 2.0 generation, it evokes this time 75% faster than the charging time.
Quick Charge, what is it?
More exactly, it is a circuit. To get rid of some of this frustration that is a period of slow charge, you need a device that has integrated the Quick Charge technology and the charger that goes with it. These are the conditions necessary to enjoy this time saving.
2.0 Quick Charge charger can still be used on a Quick Charge device but the benefits will be limited to what the circuit is capable smartphone. According to Qualcomm, "all smartphones and tablets with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 800" will be equipped with this new technology. Qualcomm has not provided a list of devices that will benefit but said that they (with the new loaders) will be available in 2014.
On the other hand, if you have a smartphone or tablet equipped with a Qualcomm processor, you can also test the proposed application by the latter, which promises you to save battery by teaching you habits and stopping applications that you do not even use.
