Apple has filed a new patent to avoid sending messages to the wrong people ... simple but effective.
The wrong destination when sending an SMS can be a very embarrassing situation. Aware of this, Apple has decided to file a patent that could help us avoid this pitfall. The document was published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is called " Generating a user interface based on the contacts ". Under this pompous surname lies a rather simple idea: view in the background, an image of the person to whom you send a message. Today, many systems discussed include names and / or phone number, but that does not prevent them from wrong. With a portrait of your friend, it will become more difficult to send something to the wrong person.
The images will be retrieved directly from your address book. If ever the person has no photo, you can select an image to represent it. Other details, if you are in a group conversation, photos of each participant will be displayed, distributed in the background. The person who expresses his will put forward frame (example: color image while the rest is in black and white).
Obviously, this is not because Apple has filed a patent that the feature will necessarily implemented for iOS. However, the manufacturer and ensures control over the application. It seems surprising that one can patent something as simple as this idea, but Apple has managed to do. Meanwhile, the feature could be very useful to some and avoid some misunderstandings between people.
