Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro a 6-inch screen 2560x1440 pixels

Remember when people were wondering if it was logical to put a 1080p screen in smartphones? These days the debate has moved on 1440p screens, this is not just an academic debate. An increasing number of mobile device manufacturers are preparing - or have already released - a smartphone with a screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Oppo did, and also with its LG LG G3 announced Tuesday. As Chinese manufacturer Vivo, he had launched the debate at the end of 2013.

Lenovo now also seems to want to sell such a device and enter the row if one believes the information from Engadget . According to a rumor, the Chinese firm is preparing to unveil the Vibe Z2 Pro, a smartphone with a 6-inch screen with a resolution and WQHD .

The new flagship smartphone Lenovo therefore provide a screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, but also a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 801, a quad-core clocked at 2.5 Ghz and a 16 megapixel camera. Finally, there would also be a battery of 4000 mAh, which is not too much to feed this huge screen and high resolution.
Regarding its design, the device looks like a smartphone with a massive slab, a black front and a metal back cover and inlaid Vibe brand . While the chassis is all metal, it is stated that the Z2 Pro Vibe has a thickness of 7.7 mm.

There is no word yet as to when the Pro Vibe Z2 could be launched, but Engadget claims to have confirmed that these photos were taken during an internal event Lenovo, suggesting that the official arrival could be close .

Until now, most smartphones Lenovo have been sold on the Chinese mainland. But the company plans to expand its offerings to international markets soon, so it is not clear if the Vibe Z2 Pro Debut or not the European market.
