While other manufacturers are rushing to the curved screens or very high resolution, BlackBerry has found another way to differentiate its new smartphone: a square screen.
When I heard of this smartphone for the first time, I was greatly astonished. A square screen? For what? And it seems I'm not the only one in the blogosphere to asked myself questions.
In a blog post, BlackBerry explained his choice, as you guessed, are geared towards productivity.
If we consider that the rectangular screens are ideal for entertainment applications, BlackBerry supports for reading and consultation documents, "the optimal number of characters in a line is 66 characters" , while the screens rectangular designs 40 would show that only in one line. Thus, the "Passport" BlackBerry is ideal for web browsing, reading and consultation documents.
