Smart Fit miCoach Adidas unveils new strap connected

End of June 2014 is unofficially discovered the new bracelet fitness connected Adidas. The miCoach Smart Fit is now official.

Adidas has officially launch its strap connected called miCoach Smart Fit . "Fit" in resonance with the platform Google Fit to centralize data on Android fitness tracking from connected objects.

The miCoach Fit Smart was unveiled in San Francisco by the sports equipment during the conference Wearable Technologies Conference 2014 .

Like many other bracelets dedicated to sports, the Adidas can measure heart rate through an optical sensor on the back (like the Samsung Gear 2 Gear 2 and Neo).

Available in black or white, it also acts as a pedometer, estimated distance traveled and the number of calories burned.

No screen itself, but a matrix of LEDs (like the Nike Fuelband SE) that can display information that changes color depending on the intensity of the effort.

The Smart Fit miCoach will connect to a mobile terminal in Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy profile).

Adidas announced a price of 199 € for availability next month. Remains whether such a tariff be able to convince as the market is already saturated with particular much less expensive products (like Nike FuelBand SE whose price is 99 € recently).
