Snapchat does not seem to exclude the idea of transforming its mobile application in paying online and micro-transaction.

Documents published by the American Patent Office and Trademark ( Trademark Serial # 86335306 and Trademark Serial # 86335307 ) revealed that Snapchat is interested in an activity that goes far beyond mere ephemeral messages. Records show essentially that the American company wants to reserve the right to use the mark "Snapchat" for activities of micro-transaction and online payment in the United States.
For now, this is not enough to conclude that Snapchat will use its email application for a service similar to PayPal. However, this tells us that it may be considered an option to earn income.
You should know that so far Snapchat still seeking ways to monetize its application messaging is all the rage among teenagers and young adults. Other rumors indicate that it expects to earn money by displaying advertisements and selling virtual goods. But thanks to financial transactions, it could actually prevent this.
Note that Snapchat is not the only one to have thought of. Earlier, the Financial Times sources had revealed that Facebook would propose paying online . As for BlackBerry, it is already testing the use of its application BlackBerry Messenger service as micro-transaction in an Asian emerging countries.
But for now, Snapchat is fairly unobtrusive. A colleague of Techcrunch says he wanted to question the company declined to comment on the news.
