HTC Desire 510 the first smartphone 64bit

As expected, HTC has launched its first smartphone with a 64-bit processor based on the ARMv8 architecture . And as expected, this is a mid-range rather than a full of high-end features smartphone.

The HTC Desire is powered by a 510 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm 410 , a chip clocked at 1.2 GHz. This addition makes it the first announced to integrate the new entry-level Qualcomm based on the ARM Cortex-A53 chip technology smartphone. Unfortunately, if it opens great things for our future flagship devices that could benefit from a 64-bit processor, such as the iPhone 5S, we will still have to wait until 2015 to see faster processors based on Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A57 designs.

Besides the novelty that makes the smartphone is so special, other specifications for the HTC Desire 510 stand paint the picture of a smartphone is more exciting for its low price , than for any other reason.

The HTC Desire has a 510 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. It has a 5 megapixel camera on the back, a 0.3 megapixel front camera, a port to accommodate a micro-SD card, Wi-Fi 802.11n connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 and a GPS chip.

The smartphone supports 4G LTE networks, GSM / WCDMA 2G and 3G and is powered by a 2100mAh battery. HTC Desire Android 4.4 comes bundled with 510 KitKat, with the HTC Sense overlay including BlinkFeed, and offers support for Dot View, holster HTC.

The HTC Desire 510 will be available in September. It will be available in matte and glossy white gray at the recommended price of 199 euros. We should learn at IFA 2014 that starts next week.
