Nexus 9 the first benchmark reveals concrete specifications

The Nexus 9 is certainly one of the most anticipated tablets of the year . It is currently manufactured by HTC, the manufacturer of the first Nexus device in history - the Google Nexus One. The specifications of the device ended up on the web for some time now, but today we have the first screenshots of the alleged Nexus 9 in a YouTube video posted by TK Tech News.

The screenshots show the device information retrieved by the CPU-Z application running on the tablet. These screenshots confirm the presence of NVIDIA Tegra K1 Denver , a 64-bit chip, under the hood, which is a dual-core offering PC performance. The chip uses two cores clocked at 2.5 GHz Denver, which are fully compatible ARMv8 architectures. The overkill GPU on this chip is 192 embarks Kepler graphics cores, with graphics performance that are incomparable to any other processing solution on the market today.

TK Tech News also mentioned that they will not have more screenshots to give us afterwards. Confirmation on the processor allows us to think that the earlier rumors claimed 4GB of RAM, the same processor, a rear 8-megapixel camera made by Sony, a Qualcomm LTE modem MDM9x25, an NFC chip, GPS and Android 5.0 is accurate. The screen of the tablet is meanwhile 8.9 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, meaning a pixel density of 340 ppi.

The device has been named as the HTC T1 and name Flound or Volantis as they code. In addition, a release date would have been affirmed as to October 9 . Google could choose to launch the new tablet next to the new Nexus smartphone in the fall to counter all expected at IFA 2014 announcements.
