Samsung is hosting an event on September 3 before the start of the IFA 2014 in Berlin, where the company is expected to unveil the long-awaited smartphone Galaxy Note 4, among other things.
If leaks and results of benchmarks posted are found to be reliable, the next phablette Samsung will have a high resolution screen, 3GB of RAM, and one of the first 64-bit processors society. It's called the Exynos 5433, which is intended to be a chip eight cores, based on the ARMv8 architecture.
Meanwhile, notes CNX-Software have discovered something that is called to be a Samsung Exynos processor 7 which is also a 64-bit chip architecture based on ARMv8 . Although this might be the same processor, it could be something else.
Anyway, it seems that the Exynos 5433 will feature quad-core ARM Cortex-A57, coupled with low power quad-core Cortex-A53 in a big.LITTLE design. This will allow the smartphone to regulate, and thus "choose" the hearts that are more appropriate for the task to balance performance and battery life of the device.
It is also expected that the processor has a graphics chip ARM Mali-T760, and if the AnTuTu benchmarks are accurate, the new chip is almost as fast as the NVIDIA Tegra K1. While the chip NVIDIA seems to have the advantage, all smartphones are not yet using it.
As for the Exynos 7, some people working to add support to the Linux kernel for chip showed various details describing it as an ARM Cortex-A57 processor single heart. It is unlikely that this is a chip with a heart, but it is possible that the code regarding the latter is still in development.
