The first smartphone running Ubuntu Touch due out before the end of the year

First smartphone running Ubuntu Touch due out in December.
The market dominance of Android, iOS and Windows Phone operating systems (some) does not prevent the development of other mobile OS like OS Firefox , Sailfish OS or Ubutu Touch.

Currently, it is already possible to install it (at your own risk) on select smartphones. But there is still no mobile comes with the operating system. There are a few months, however, had Canonical announced the signing of agreements with two manufacturers  : Chinese Meizu and Spanish BQ. Since then, Canonical has more or less kept a low profile about its mobile OS.

But recently it has been contacted by his partner Meizu who could get a reassuring information for fans. Indeed, Canonical would have ensured that the operating system will be available for phone Meizu MX 4 from December. So there will be no new smartphone but only a variant Ubuntu Touch. The good news is that the Meizu MX 4 should land in Europe later and it should not be very expensive (relatively).

But most important of all is that the OS will finally come out of his shell. Its popularity and its performance will depend adoption by other manufacturers.
