Galaxy A5 Alpha and A3 Alpha in two cartons

Samsung may soon introduce two smartphones Galaxy Alpha, with a genuine metal frame. If recent specifications for the Galaxy Alpha A5 and A3 are found on the website of the FCC, today media reports have surfaced on the web. While Samsung seems to put the package on the marketing side to his Galaxy Alpha, including television spots, it seems that these Alphas will feature the same hybrid design of plastic and metal, and should be placed on the sector and low midrange.

The A3 Alpha Galaxy is a smartphone with a 4.5 inch low resolution, estimated to be 960 x 540 pixels. Meanwhile, the A5 model is slightly larger with a 4.8-inch screen and offer a 720p resolution. If both Alphas are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 410, smartphones have different amounts of RAM. There will be 1 GB and 2 GB of RAM respectively on the A3 and A5.

The internal storage also varies, since the A3 would have a capacity of 8 GB, while the Galaxy Alpha A5 embark 16GB. Fortunately, reports suggest that there will be a port for micro-SD card on both models to expand internal capacity. However, the first Galaxy Alpha has no micro-SD port, and it seems strange that these less powerful versions would offer such an option.

Regarding the cameras, the A3 will carry a 8 megapixel sensor embedded on the back cover, while on the front a 5-megapixel sensor will be found. The A5 has the same front camera, but behind the sensor rises to 13 megapixels. Both models come with 4G LTE connectivity and the A5 is said to have a battery of 2300 mAh.
