IPad Air 2 new images confirm the Touch ID sensor, and the A8X chip

If Apple is about to launch its new iPads this Thursday, a new leak reveals a little more about what we can expect from them, and also confirming previous speculation.

The new news is accompanied by various images of components that are embedded in the new Apple tablet, which were published by the Taiwanese apple.club.tw site, a popular source linked to rumors of future devices the Cupertino.

The pictures, relayed by Apple Insider, show a picture of an iPad, and its internal components, including fingerprint sensor Touch ID, which should be embedded in both the iPad Air 2 , but also the ' iPad Mini 3.

In addition, the image of the internal structure fingerprint sensor shows it has a ring of gold , reinforcing another speculation, namely that Apple would introduce a model gold color.
All photographs also contains a snapshot of what is supposed to be a logical map of the iPad, on which the chip A8X would be found . Interestingly, the iPad Pro (a version with a screen of 12.9 inches) is the model that has already been reported to use this chip, while the A8 would meanwhile boarded the Air iPad 2.
Does that mean we might see the iPad Pro unveiled next week, although it will not be sold before the start of next year (a strategy adopted last month with Apple Watch)? Who knows ...

It is also expected that an iMac with a Retina screen is announced on 16 October.
