If Windows 8 has proven to be anything harmful in terms of productivity for many people, Microsoft has once again meet the needs of users looking to improve their productivity, eventually having a feature that was available on Linux for many years: the virtual desktop.

Unless you have a multi-monitor configuration, it can be easy to run out of space on the screen. For this reason, Windows 10 provides multiple virtual desktops that you can work naturally, and quickly switch between them .

To use this feature, simply click on the new "Task View" button in the taskbar. It is located between the search icon and Internet Explorer when you install Windows 10.

To add a new office, all you need to do is click on the "+" sign. You can create multiple virtual desktops, and switching between them is as simple as clicking again on the "Task View" button and moving your mouse over the thumbnail of the one you want. Once the workspace displayed, click it (or click again on the "Task View" button) to start using it. You can also change the desktop by pressing Ctrl + Win and pressing the left or right buttons.
Moving applications and open windows between virtual desktops is very simple. Click again on the "Task View" button, right-click on the window to move, select "Move" and then choose the desktop you want.
To close a virtual desktop, hover your mouse over the thumbnail and click the X that appears.
And now, voila! Pretty handy right? Did you expect such a feature?
