The next installment in the range of Nexus tablet is finally here, and just like the Nexus smartphone has risen to a higher screen size, the Nexus 9 , as the name suggests, now has a widescreen 8 9 inches. Besides this screen, it also has the distinction of having been designed by HTC, a manufacturer who is back in the design of Nexus products, and is also the first tablet that the Taiwanese company has made for some time.

Unboxing
If you watched an unboxing of the Nexus 6, notice that the Nexus 9 arrives in a plain white box , similar to the smartphone, this time with a big 9 on the front. The opening of the box shows the tablet in all its splendor, and below you'll find the micro-USB cable and the AC outlet. That is all that is in the box, but this is probably not the final product packaging. - This is a model directly from the manufacturer HTC and for loans
because other unboxing I could watch, you'll also find a nice colorful picture pasted on the back cover of the box, and under the shelf you will find a small blue bag to dispose of the tablet documentation and user guide warranty information.
On the edge of it we will have a 3.5mm audio jack, the only port placed on it.
On the bottom, the micro-USB port.
On the right, we will find the on / off button and the volume button plus and minus.
The left side of the device is completely smooth and pristine.
The front camera is 1.6 megapixels. Just below, a speaker is set. Downstairs, another speaker is inlaid to enjoy stereo sound.
On the back, the camera 8 megapixel with LED Flash below.
First Impressions
When it comes to design, Nexus 9 has a shiny metal frame and a rear shell soft-touch plastic, rather than a cold metal as the firm was able to do on its range One smartphones. Whatever its appearance is a beautiful effect and its apparent solidity is a manufacturer of quality. Moreover, despite this plastic in the back, fingerprints are not too visible with the lunar white model I have. Maybe it will be different with the blue-black model or sand. HTC has always attached importance to the high quality of the design and manufacturer, and it shows once again here.
Up front, a 8.9 inch screen with a ratio of 4: 3 is visible , which is not something you see very often on Android devices. The screen is very bright and lively, with beautiful colors. In terms of specifications, it is an IPS LCD that provides a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, which results in a pixel density of 281 ppi.
Manufactured by HTC, it was obvious that the Nexus 9 adopts speakers BoomSound front. With the little time I have spent with it so far, I am already very impressed with the audio quality. They deliver a loud, sharp and clear, with a lot of depth and fit perfectly with what we are used with HTC devices.
At the back of the tablet, the camera of 8 megapixel camera with LED flash is embedded, and at least on paper, is the best camera a Nexus tablet is taken up. It seems that this could be promising, but again, a camera on a tablet may not match the quality offered his counterparts on smartphones. A more detailed camera test will be in an upcoming article.
With an excellent design and side features, which makes the Nexus 9 special is the fact that it is the first tablet to have Android 5.0 Lollipop once out of the box . As you may have read several times on the blog, Lollipop Android is much more than update, at least since Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and brings with it the new name design Material Design Giant Mountain View I have already been able to make you discover the Nexus 7.
The changes are obvious, from the unlock screen to the settings window. Besides the light pattern you will see throughout the user interface, you now have the option to restore the settings, applications and data from other Android devices, making it much easier process that has been so far.
Applications, menus, and each element merge perfectly into a harmonious experience and smoothly. There are many changes in Android 5.0, including improvements to the unlock screen and notifications.
So here you have a choice unboxing and first impressions on Nexus 9! Obviously, there is much more to say about the Nexus 9, including performance offered by the Tegra processor K1, or the camera seems excellent, and the many features of Android 5.0 Lollipop, so stay listening I would quickly complete test this Google Nexus 9
If you have questions or would like to see some things tested, do not forget to mention them in the comments below.
